Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Oriental Car Carrier. By using our vehicle transportation services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms outline the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of both the customer and Oriental Car Carrier to ensure a smooth and transparent service experience.


1. Booking & Payment

1.1. Customers must provide accurate details about their vehicle, pickup, and drop-off locations at the time of booking. Any incorrect information may result in additional charges.
1.2. A non-refundable advance payment is required to confirm the booking for certain pickup location. The remaining amount must be paid once consignment is loaded and dispatched from origin.
1.3. Payment can be made via UPI, credit or debit card. No vehicle will be delivered until full payment is received.
1.4. Any additional services requested after the booking confirmation will be charged separately.


2. Vehicle Condition & Inspection

2.1. Customers must ensure that their vehicle is in running condition before transport. Non-operational vehicles will incur extra handling charges.
2.2. A pre-shipment inspection report will be prepared at pickup, documenting the vehicle’s condition, existing dents, scratches, or damages.
2.3. Customers are advised to remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before transportation. Oriental Car Carrier is not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle.
2.4. Fuel level should be minimum (around 20-25%) for loading and unloading purposes.


3. Pickup & Delivery Terms

3.1. Pickup and delivery dates are estimated and subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather, traffic conditions, or operational delays.
3.2. Door-to-door delivery is available wherever possible. However, in cases where direct access is restricted (e.g., narrow lanes, legal restrictions), the customer must arrange pickup/delivery from the nearest accessible point.
3.3. Customers must be available at the designated delivery location to receive the vehicle. If unavailable, they must authorize a representative to collect the vehicle.
3.4. If the customer fails to accept the vehicle on the scheduled delivery date, parking charges will apply.


4. Liability & Insurance

4.1. All vehicles are transported under a mandatory basic transit risk coverage, covering damages due to accidents or fire, the premium of the same will be xharged extra upon invocing.
4.2. Oriental Car Carrier is not responsible for minor scratches, dents, or damages caused by road debris, natural disasters, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
4.3. In case of an insurance claim, customers must report the issue at the time of delivery and provide necessary images and videos of damege for processing.
4.4. The company’s maximum liability is limited to the declared insurance value of the vehicle in case of major damages or total loss.


5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1. Cancellations made before 48 hours of pickup will incur a cancellation charge of 25% of the total transport cost.
5.2. Cancellations made within 48 hours of pickup will result in a 50% deduction, and cancellations after vehicle pickup are non-refundable.
5.3. Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7-10 business days after approval.


6. Prohibited Items & Customer Responsibilities

6.1. Customers must not transport any illegal, hazardous, or flammable materials in their vehicles.
6.2. Customers are responsible for informing the company about any vehicle modifications (e.g., oversized tires, extra fittings) that may affect transport logistics.
6.3. The company reserves the right to refuse service if a vehicle poses safety risks or violates legal regulations.


7. Force Majeure

7.1. Oriental Car Carrier shall not be held liable for delays, damages, or losses caused by natural disasters, strikes, riots, governmental actions, or any circumstances beyond our control.


8. Governing Law & Disputes

8.1. These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.
8.2. Any disputes arising out of these terms will be settled through negotiation. If unresolved, the matter shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with jurisdiction limited to [Company’s City], India.
